Obituary

Patricia Ann Randall Cave, 58, of Palatka, heard her Masters welcoming voice, answered his call, and transitioned into eternal rest on Sunday, March 28, at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka. Pat was born Sunday, January 13,1952 in Daytona Beach, Florida to Harold Randall and Naomi Janette White. She earned her early education in the Alachua County (Hawthorne) School District. Her family later moved to Volusia County and she attended Mainland High School, Daytona Beach. As a teenager, they relocated to Putnam County (San Mateo). She graduated from Central Academy High School Class of 1969 and furthered her education at St. Johns River Community College and Daytona Beach Community College. She was a member of Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, formerly serving in the Choir and as past president of the Pastors Resource Ministry. Since 1992, Pat was employed by the Putnam County School District where she was a former bus driver and retired in December of 2009 as a data clerk at Miller Intermediate School in Crescent City because of declining health. She enjoyed home decorating, sewing, and spending time with her family. She was an avid collector of figurines especially angels and baby dolls. On January 14, 2010, her beloved Mother, Naomi J. Michael transitioned to be with the Lord. Her maternal grandparents, Elder King David White Sr., and Albertha Riley White; Aunt, Ruth W. Elmore; uncles, Father Cornelious White and King David White, Sr., also preceded her in eternal rest.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: Sons, Frederick E. Cave II, Hastings; Carron D. (Fiance, Brandy Gilliam) Curry; Jarrett J. Curry, both of Palatka; Father and step-mother, Harold (Nadine) Randall, Haines City, FL; two sisters, Carolyn (Roosevelt) Miller, Daytona Beach; Marcia Allen, Palm Coast; Siblings (her beloved fathers children): Gloria (Elliott) McBride, Miami; Willene Jackson, Lonell Randall and Eddie C. Randall, all of Rochester, NY; Collette (Walter) Atkins, Clarence Bernard Allen, and Jonathan Hunt, all of Haines City; Oreal (Bryan) Randall, Winter Haven; Don Haywood, Lake Wales; James (Vanessa) Ammons, Orlando, FL; and Q.C. Randall, Lake Hamilton; Aunts, Ruby (Thomas) McCullough, Charlotte, NC; Marion Desota, Signal Hill, CA; Joan Johnson, Daytona Beach; Louise Johnson and Wilhelmina Felder, both of San Mateo; Theodosia White, Washington, D.C., Johnnie Mae Washington, Gainesville; Betty Jackson, New Jersey; Uncles, James B. White, Orlando; James (Elnora) Randall, Tuskegee, AL; Grandchildren; Jaymien E. Cave and JahRon F. Cave, both of Daytona Beach; Jaidon J. Curry, Palatka; former husband and dear friend, Frederick Cave Sr., Hastings; godparents, Wilmer and Georgian Gilyard Sr., San Mateo; goddaughter, Rhonda Bubbles Jara, San Mateo; godsons, Leroy Mitchell, San Mateo; Andrew Powell, IV, Palatka; extended family members, Willie Mae Thomas, Palatka; Sharell Badie and Shirley Robinson, both of Daytona Beach and their families respectfully; her beloved Mt. Tabor family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, god-sisters, god-brothers, other relatives, caring friends and devoted neighbors, including Mildred Bellamy, Malvoria Reaves, Christine Bolden, and Elizabeth Johnson.

Visitation of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Friday (Today) April 2, at The Chapel of Serenity. Homegoing Celebration will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 3 at Mt Tabor First Baptist Church, 4909 St. Johns Ave. Palatka, Rev. Karl N. Flagg, Pastor, Eulogist. The cortege will assemble 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the familys residence, 4510 Madison Street, Palatka. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill East Cemetery.
