Pamela Michele Reid was born October 13, 1965 to loving parents, Mr. Curtis A. and Mrs. Gladys E. Reid in New York City. Her journey from the land of the dying to the land of the living began at 2:30 a.m., Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida. In 1974, Pamela joined The Union Baptist Church of Christ, under the late Dr. Ollie B. Wells, Sr. She became a Christian and active member of Choir and Usher Board. She attended The Walton High School, Bronx, New York, and graduated with honors in 1983. Pamela attended The University of Maryland, graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She was employed at Johns Hopkins University for than 20 years. In 1983, Pamela enlisted in the U.S. National Guard, and was honorably discharged in 1989. Pamela loved to travel with her family on vacation. Pamela moved, with her mother, to Florida in 2005. They both joined the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Palm Coast, and became active members. Pamela attended Sunday School regularly, and was active with the Women's Ministry and the Issachar Tribe Family. Pamela was employed with Flagler Hospital, St. Augustine, Florida as a nurse. She was a very caring and loving person with everyone she met. She was never lost for words, and she never met a stranger. She was full of joy and laughter- Pam carried this image wherever she went. Pam loved Jesus Christ, and loved to study the Word of God. Her favorite Bible verses are in Psalm 23, Psalm 27 and Pslam 91.

She leaves her loving mother, Deaconess Gladys E. Reid, Palm Coast; sister, Etta J. Reid, New York; aunts, Annie Ruth Sanders, Marion, South Carolina; Clara Mae Smith, New York City; Colean Sanders, Marion , South Carolina; Catherine Moody, Marion,South Carolina; Louise Reid, New York City; uncle, Alfonse Reid, Long Island, New York and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of life will be held Monday, August 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Palm Coast, 75 Pine Lakes Parkway South, Palm Coast, Pastor Edwin Coffie, eulogist.
