OllieRuth Charles, 37, of Jacksonville, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Miller County Hospital, Colquitt, GA. The daughter of Hector Charles & Antonine Charles, she was born on Wednesday, August 29, 1979 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In the early 90's, the family relocated to Miami. She was educated in the Miami-Dade County School District. Ollie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Florida International University, Miami. She was employed as a Receptionist with ADT Alarm Security Company. She was a member of Tabernacle of Glory, Miami, where she served as a greeter and an usher. Ollie enjoyed gardening, watching movies, cooking, reading the Bible, singing, and interior design.

She was preceded in eternal rest by her grandmother, Soirisena Louis.

She leaves to cherish her memories: parents, Hector & Antonine Charles; brothers, Jacob (Senji) Charles, Azer Charles, Emmanuel Charles, all of Port-au-Prince, Haiti; sisters, Jemima Charles, Claire Charles, Junire Charles, Green Cove Springs; aunts & uncles, Marie Carmel Casseus, Melisena Toure', Madeleine Descoches, Rose Lucas Louis, Marie Claude Louis; devoted cousins, Castera (Mary) Francois, Wilcius Louis; one niece, Lisbeth Charles; and a host of other relatives and friends.
