Noreen Louise Murer, 89, of Lake Como,(former resident of Boonville, NY) passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at her home. Noreen was born on Wednesday, May 9, 1923 in Boonville, New York to the late Dewey & Alice (Williams) Sessions. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked for the State of New York. She loved to crochet and enjoyed volunteering at the "The Little Blue House Museum", a lifetime member of the Crescent City Women's Club and a member of the Lake Como United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Murer was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Murer; brothers, Ralph Sessions, Ronald Sessions, and Carl "Jake" Sessions; sister, Norma Spaven. Mrs. Murer leaves a lifetime full of memories for her son, Brian J. Murer, Brandon; sister, Anne Boek, Boonville, NY; caregivers, Tommy Bennett; Walter Green; her buddy, Little Earl, all of Lake Como; several nieces, nephews and their families and friends who will miss her dearly. A Memorial Celebration will be held in New York at a later date and she will be inurned next to her beloved husband James at Evergreen Cemetery, 9182 Sulphur Springs Road, Lee Center, NY.
