Nilda Esther Lopez, 57, of Pomona Park, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Haven's E. T. York Hospice Care Center, Gainesville, FL., following a brief illness. A native of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, she was born on Saturday, May 21, 1955 to Raul and Antonia (Crespo) Lopez. She has been a resident of Pomona Park for the past ten years and was a retired farm laborer and homemaker. Nilda was very industrious and her memories are cherished by all who loved and knew her. Visitation of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 24 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Graveside Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25 at Mt. Tamo Cemetery, Pomona Park, with Reverend Theodore McRae, pastor of New Mt. Tamo Baptist Church, officiating.
