Nathan Lee Battles, 42, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Friday, August 20, 2021 at his residence. The son of Gwendolyn Battles, he was born on Monday, January 22, 1979 in Gainesville, and resided in Palatka his entire life. Nathan was educated in the Putnam County School District. He was loved immensely by his family.

He was preceded in eternal rest by his grandmother, Ruby Jordan.

He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Gwendolyn Elizabeth Battles; brother, Jermaine Battles; sister, Demetrish Holcey; nieces, Jazzmaria Battles, Camais Jackson; nephew, Carl'tez Jackson; uncles and aunts, Leroy (Sandy) Battles Jr., Homestead; Jonathion Battles, Arthur Battles, Leonard (Nanette) Battles, Gary Battles, Earl Battles, Jimmy Battles, Atlanta GA; and a host of cousins.

Celebration of Nathan's Life will be 1 p.m., Friday, September 3, at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Elder Alonzo Mulberry, III, Pastor, Soul Mission Church of God in Christ, officiating.
