Mechel Bynoe-Ramos, 30, of San Antonio, TX, entered the sunset of life on Friday, August 11, 2017 at her residence. The daughter of Michael Bynoe and Altrese Hopkins Weathers, she was born on Sunday, July 26, 1987 in Fort Myers, FL. She was educated in the Putnam County, FL and Mecklenburg, NC County School Districts, and graduated from Vance High School, Charlotte, NC. Mechel majored in Graphic Design at The Art Institute of Charlotte and St. Johns River State College. She later studied Computer Arts Animation at Full Sail University. She was an administrative assistant at Atlas Auto Sales and a disc jockey / karaoke host for Outlaw Entertainment. She enjoyed singing, drawing, and dancing.
She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Orlando Ramos, San Antonio, TX; mother, Altrese Hopkins (Raymond, Sr.) Weathers, Washington, D.C., father, Michael M. Bynoe, Sr., St. Petersburg; devoted grandparents, Marion and Harrison Edwards, Jr., Palatka; grandfather, Jim H. Hopkins, Jr., Tampa; brothers, Michael M. Bynoe, Jr., Raymond Weathers, Jr.; sisters, A'mari Weathers, Toshia Moore; a host of aunts and uncles, including Mi'chele (Terry) Major, James Cooper, III, Sobrina Chavis, Mark (Vee) Hopkins, Harrison (Kim) Edwards, III, Steven (Keyona) Edwards, Tiffany Edwards; special cousins, Shakira Williams, Tevin Edwards, both of Palatka; Terry Major, Jr., West Palm Beach; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m., Friday, August 25 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Celebration of Mechel's Life will be 10 a.m., Saturday, August 26, at To God Be The Glory Holiness Church, 3521 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka. Elder Alonzo Mulberry, Pastor of Soul Mission Church of God in Christ, is the eulogist.
