Maxwell Clifton Johnson, 69, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Wednesday, January 27, 2022 at his residence.  A native of Kingston, Jamaica, he was a certified nursing assistant (orderly) for many years at a Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in New York until he moved to Florida with the love of his life, Eleanor Lockhart to provide personal care for her Nana, Eleanor Massenburg.  Maxwell was preceded in eternal rest by his parents and he leaves to cherish his memories, his children and siblings.  A Celebration of life will be held graveside at Oak Hill West Cemetery, 712 South Palm Avenue, Palatka, at 1 p.m., on Friday, February 4th, with Reverend Karl N. Flagg, Pastor, Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, officiating.
