Maurice Teddy, Hayden, 43, of Sanford, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Central Florida Regional Hospital as a result of a work related incident at the Mayfair County Club Golf Course of Sanford a day earlier. A native of St. Catherine, Jamaica, he was educated at the Marley Hill Manchester School in Jamaica and later moved to the United States in 2005. He was united in marriage to the former Evelena Borden on April 7, 2006. They relocated from Palatka to Sanford in 2008, where he became employed as a groundskeeper at Mayfair. Teddy was a hard working family man who loved cooking and playing dominos with his friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2010. Homegoing Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 4, at the Chapel of Serenity. Minister A. D. Bivins, associate minister, Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church is officiating.

Interment will be in Oak Hill East Cemetery.
