Mary Helen duBignon-Tucker (Miriyom ben Levi ben Yisrael), 86, of Hastings, entered the sunset of life on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Flagler Hospital, St. Augustine. The daughter of Merrill duBignon, Sr. and Celia Gadsen-duBignon, was born on Wednesday, June 23, 1937, in Brunswick, GA. Mary was of the Hebrew faith and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and being a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in eternal rest by her son, Yaakov ben Yashua ben Levi ben Yisrael; daughters, Tama duBignon, Delilah b'th Yashua ben Levi ben Yisrael; siblings, Merril duBignon, Jr., Barbara Ann duBignon, John Weskey "Bubba" Gadsden, Janie Lee Gadsen-Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories: sons and daughters, Anthony Greene Elkanah ben Yashua ben Levi ben Yisrael, Yosef ben Yashua ben Levi ben Yisrael, Miriyom b'th Yashua ben Levi ben Yisrael, Keturah b'th Yashua ben Levi ben Yisrael-Mach, Milcah b'th Yashua ben Levi ben Yisrael-Hayward, Malka Grant; 17 grandsons, 14 granddaughters; 28 great-grandsons; 30 great-granddaughters; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
Visitation of family and friends will be held from 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, and a Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, May 16 at Flagg's Chapel of Serenity. Chief of Chief Levite Yashua ben Levi ben Yisrael, officiating. Interment: Oak Hill West Cemetery.
