Marilynn Yvonne Esau, 60, of East Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Putnam Community Medical Center. A native of Palatka, she was the daughter of Reverend Alton Loyal Esau, Sr., and Loretta McBride Esau, born on Wednesday, May 22, 1957. She was educated in the Putnam County School District. Marilynn was actively involved in the ARC of Putnam for many years. She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church and served as an usher. Marilynn was such a sweet, loving, and kindred soul. Her hobbies included maintaining her "Barbie Doll" collection, listening to music, playing UNO, traveling, and reading magazines. Her father, Rev. Esau, preceded her in eternal rest on January 19, 1994.

Esau, East Palatka; brothers, Elder James (Arcilla) Esau, Palatka; Minister Alfred (LaJune) Esau, East Palatka; Pastor Joseph (Loretta) Esau, Orange Mills; Marion (Evelena) Esau, Alton (Kimberly) Esau, Jr., both of West Palm Beach; sisters, Rosetta Faust, Philadelphia, PA; Azalee (Joe) Bellamy, Palatka; Corina Mack, West Palm Beach; foster brother, Eddie Johnson, Palatka; foster sister, Victoria Jones, West Palm Beach; aunts and uncles, Harvey (Connie) McBride, Charles (Ernestine) McBride, Daniel (Deedra) McBride, Earl (Virginia) McBride, Iola (Donald) Beckford, all of West Palm Beach; Gloria Jean McBride, Atlanta, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation of family and friends at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 719 Reid Street, Palatka, will be from 4:30-7:30 p.m., Friday, May 4. Homegoing Celebration will be 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 5 at Bethel, Rev. James McGriff, Pastor, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery, San Mateo.
