Margaret King Alexander, 67, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, June 13, 2024, after a brief illness. A native and lifelong resident of Palatka, Margie was the daughter of Floyd and Idella "Betty" King, she was born on Friday, April 19, 1957. She was educated in the Putnam County School District and attended Palatka South High School. Margie was a longtime, loyal hostess at Sonny's BBQ, where she was employed for 36 years. She enjoyed meeting and serving her customers.

In addition to her parents, Margie is preceded in eternal rest by her husband, Jimmy Alexander.

To cherish her memories: her 2 sons, Craig (Mary) Alexander, Middleburg; Toby Alexander, Palatka; 3 grandchildren, Blake Alexander, Orange Park; McKinzy Alexander, Middleburg; and Myah Alexander, Palatka; sister, Kathy (Charlie) Smith, Palatka; brother, James Steven King, Interlachen; and her terrier pup, "Jake".

No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes can be sent to the S.A.F.E Pet Rescue of Putnam County.
