Elder Mack Kelly, Jr., 90, of Putnam Hall, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at his residence. The son of George Bradley and Annie Lou Davis, he was a native of Bowman, SC., and resided in Putnam Hall since 1991, coming from Bronx, NY. He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. Mack, together with his wife of 43 years, Dr. Jane Kelly (1931-2005) were inaugural members of Salvation and Deliverance Church Ministries, Worldwide, Harlem, NY. He was a retired carpenter/painter from NY Astoria General Hospital. He was affiliated with Abilene Missionary Baptist Church, Putnam Hall.
Cherishing his memories: son, Gregory Kelly, Cambria Heights, NY; daughter, Kenya Mack, Palatka; step-children, Janet Lancaster, Gainesville; Patricia Kimble, Orlando; Claudette Williams, Elaine Lane, Immokalee; Simeon Williams, Jacksonville; Robert Smith, Miami; 14 grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. today at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Homegoing Celebration will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 24, at Abilene Missionary Baptist Church, 189 Putnam Loop Road, Putnam Hall, FL., Rev. Frankie L. McClendon, Sr., Pastor. Apostle Austin Lancaster, Rohi Kingdom International Ministries, eulogist. Interment with military honors will be in Abilene Baptist Church, Cemetery.
