Lydia Huff Gillins, affectionately known to her family as "Kay" was born on Wednesday, May 11, 1949 in Cleveland, TN to Bethel Francis Huff and Cora Lee Winn. Kay relocated with her family to Florida and resided in Palatka. While residing in Palatka she met and married Paul Gillins. Kay was employed at Wal-Mart Supercenter as a cashier. She was of the Christian faith. Kay loved her family and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was a great friend to everyone and never missed a chance to wish her family a happy birthday on their special days. She will truly be missed.

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in eternal rest by her cousins Linda (Lee) Smart, Gerene Fulfer-Poole; brothers-in-law, Michael Parks, Wylie Spencer. Kay entered into eternal rest at her residence on Saturday January 13, 2024 when God called her to His heavenly home.

Precious memories of Kay will forever be cherished by her: daughter, Cynthia (Barry) Reese; grandchildren, Angela, Christopher, and Colt; great-grandchildren, Lane, Madalyn, Hoyt, Jason, and Samuel; siblings, Gincy Huff, Penny Harris, Hosea (Martha) Winn, III, Michael Winn, Kimberly Winn-Parks and Michelle Winn-Spencer; a special friend, Florene "Ma" Gillins, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and sorrowing friends.

Visitation of family & friends will be 1-3 p.m. with Celebration of Life commencing at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 20 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity."
