Luis Alberto Rivera, 73, of Interlachen, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at UF Health Shands Hospital, Gainesville. The son of Eurelio Rivera and Genoveva Robles, he was born on Thursday, December 4, 1951 in Guayama, Puerto Rico. Luis enjoyed playing with his chickens, collecting cars and fishing. He worked for many years as a deliveryman for a furniture company in Philadelphia.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Miervra Rivera; son, Luis Rivera and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be held 12:00-1:30 p.m. with Celebration of Luis' Life commencing at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 23rd at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Interment will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Interlachen.
