Luis Alberto Cruz, Jr., 47, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka. A native of Bronx, NY, he was the son of Luis Alberto Cruz, Sr. and Blanca Rosa (Medina) Cruz, born on Tuesday, August 24, 1971. He was educated in Bronx New York School District and in Puerto Rico. Luis was a hard-working man who held multiple jobs to provide for his loving family, especially his wife and children. He was formerly employed by Soft Tech, CDL, and Putnam County Sanitation Department and had to retire early due to health reasons. He enjoyed listening to music, especially church music and he felt like drinking coffee was essential. His passionate hobby was wood carving and he hand-carved beautiful crosses, butterflies and different kinds of magnets.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Milagro Rosa; children, Alex Guzman, Alberto Cruz, Crystal Cruz, all of Palatka; step-son , Nelson Luis Alejandro, NY; parents, Luis Alberto (Blanca Rosa) Cruz, Sr., Palatka ; brothers, Hector (Marisol Bermudez) Martinez; Edwin Garcia, both of Clermont; sisters, Yvette (Edger Vargas) Martinez, Bronx, NY; Blanca Iris (Juan Trinidad) Martinez, Kissimmee; several nieces and nephews , and a host of other relatives and friends. The Cruz family will host a private memorial at a later date. Rest in Peace, Luis A. Cruz, Jr.
