Lucille Stewart Floyd, 81, of St. Augustine entered the sunset of life on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Shands Hospital, Jacksonville. A native of Wilson, N.C., she was born on November 9, 1930, to Henry and Susan (Stewart) Hardy, who preceded her in eternal rest. Lucille was a retired homemaker who enjoyed fishing and cooking. She resided in St. Augustine for over 55 years and served the Lord with gladness and entered into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Lucille was a faithful member of North City Baptist Church, St. Augustine, where she served on the Deaconess, Usher's, and Kitchen ministries. Her memories will be cherished forever by her children, Willie Rickerson, Pastor Mary Elliott, and Sylvia Boone, all of Jacksonville, Jessie Lee (Margaret) Rickerson and Gloria Rickerson, both of St. Augustine, and Molina Rickerson, Baltimore, MD; 20 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation of family and friends will be at New Mt. Moriah Christian Ministry from 5-7 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2012. Homegoing Celebration will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 15, at New Mt. Moriah, 650 Christopher St., St. Augustine, the Rev. Ronald Stafford, pastor. The Rev. Emmanuel Oliver, pastor of North City Baptist Church, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Augustine
