IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Louise Jackson
Willis
April 11, 1951 – September 30, 2024
Louise Jackson Willis, 73, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Monday, September 30, 2024 at her residence. The daughter of George Graham Jr. and Mae Bell Davis, she was born on Wednesday, April 11, 1951 in Palatka, Florida. On her mother's side of the family, she was one of 10 siblings and the second oldest daughter. Louise, affectionately known as "Weezy", was raised from an infant by her paternal grandparents, Mr. George Graham Sr. and Mrs. Essa Mae Graham. Her grandmother owned a small store where Louise learned the importance of business and helping others.
Louise was educated in the Putnam County School System. She was a flag girl in the band and a 1969 graduate of Central Academy High School. After high school, she attended Bethune-Cookman College, Daytona Beach. Louise went on to become a certified lifeguard alongside her cousin, Betty. She was always a caregiver who loved to cook and serve others. Louise's family deemed her quiet in her early years. Louise captured the hearts of many in her adult years. She spent time in many places, such as Daytona, Texas, Pompano Beach, Minneapolis and even Port St. Lucie. Louise loved bartending as she shared many stories over the years about her experiences. Louise had a passion to cook, bake, and provide for her family and friends.
In addition to her parents and paternal grandparents, she was preceded in eternal rest by her siblings: Lillian Robinson, Ethel Mae Jackson and Evelyn Robinson; brother-in-law, Christopher Walton.
Precious memories of Louise will continue to flourish in the lives of her siblings; six brothers: Luther (Carmellia) Williams, Port St. Lucie; Frank Robinson, Joseph Jackson, Alfred Robinson, all of Green Cove Springs; George (Lisa) Williams, Palatka; Ronnie Williams, Gainesville; two sisters: Shirley Walton, Palatka; Regina Robinson, Jacksonville; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Flagg's Chapel of Serenity, Rev. Karl N. Flagg, officiating.
