Lisa Kiser Grant was a native of Gainesville, Florida, born on Wednesday, May 5, 1971 to Holland Miller, Sr., and Retha Mae Beasley Foster. A lifelong resident of Palatka, she was educated in the Putnam County School District. Lisa was a homemaker, formerly employed as a bus attendant by the Putnam County School District. She was united in marriage to Elbert Michael Grant. She was a member of the Palatka House of God Church. Lisa was a very sharing and caring person who was loved by many and she was often referred to as a "Diva" because of her passion for the finest, especially wearing fine clothes. Her hobby was playing bingo and she loved seafood. Lisa answered the Lord's call Tuesday afternoon when she heard the voice of her Master say, "The battle has been fought and the victory is won, well done, my daughter, well done." In addition to her beloved mother, Lisa was preceded in eternal rest by her brothers, Alphonso Beasley and Earl Golden; aunts, Annie Lee Beasley, Annie Beasley, Minnie Lee Beasley, Blanche M. Douglas; uncle, Robert Lee Beasley, Willie D. Miller; cousin, Russell Powell. Lisa entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at her Palatka residence. Lisa leaves to cherish her precious memories: loving husband of 20 years, Elbert Michael Grant, Palatka; father, Holland Miller, Sr., Palatka; "As a mother," Sharon Holcy; Palatka sons and daughters, Trevarus Kiser, Tyren (Tiffany) Kiser, Elbert Grant, Jr., Treasure McGee, LaShon Grant, Carmen Beauford, Erica Harris, Victoria (Andrew) Moye, Delvon Belton, Earnest (Keiwanna) Belton, Trevarus Belton, all of Palatka; Tonge Grant, Velvis Thomas, both of Gainesville; Tiffany (Chavarious) Murray, Gulfport, MS; MyKayla Grant, Jacksonville; sisters, Sarah Kiser, Atlanta, GA., Mary Beasley, Ruby (Sean) Jones, Ronis Miller, Precious Miller, Yvette Miller, Keasha Miller, Palatka; brothers, Rickey (Greta) Herring, Lonnie (Diane) Berr, Holland Miller,Jr., Terrance Miller, Stephen Miller, Reggie Rich, all of Palatka, James (Shirley) Kiser, Johnny (Peggy) Kiser, Aurora. CO; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, especially, Gloria Beasley and Vicky Beasley, both of Palatka; Veronica Beasley (Anthony) Clark, Crescent City; numerous friends, especially, LaRondi Ford and Kelly Pugh, Palatka. Visitation of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m., Friday, October 17th (today) at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity" 2400 Madison Street, Palatka. Homegoing Celebration will be 11 a.m., Saturday, October 18th , at the House of God Church, 722 N. 19th Street, Palatka, Dr. Gilbert L. Evans, Jr., Pastor, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Oak Hill West Cemetery.
