Linda Joyce White, 73, of East Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center, Palatka. The daughter of Erester and Elma (Degrate) White, she was born on Sunday, November 19, 1950 in Waco, Texas. She was educated in the Putnam County School District at Central Academy High School. Linda was employed as a Food Service Worker by several restaurants. She was of the Baptist faith. Linda enjoyed watching western shows and movies, playing cards, and being around family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in eternal rest by her sisters, Beaulah James and Barbara Harris; brother, A.C. Toliver; paternal grandparents, Andrew and Georgia White; maternal grandparents, Lonnie and Annie Degrate; nephew, Marvin Fowler; niece, Bashay McKinnon.

She leaves to cherish her memories: 2 loving sisters, Georgia (Frank) McKinnon, Vivian (Joseph) Jackson, of Palatka; nieces, Jekita Ashford, L'Teisha (Donald) Baker, Jasmine Jackson; nephew, Joseph Jackson II; and host of great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be held from 12-2 p.m. with a Celebration of Life commencing at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 5 at Christ Witness Church of the Almighty God. Elder Frank McKinnon, Christ Witness Church, is the eulogist. Interment will follow in Pattersonville Cemetery, East Palatka.
