Linda Marie Jones Miller, 65, of Jacksonville, entered the sunset of life on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at UF Shands Jacksonville. The daughter of Earlie, Sr. and Florida Mae (Hampshire) Jones, she was born on Thursday, September 17, 1959 in Middleburg. She was a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Middleburg where she served as a choir member, program director and food committee server. Linda enjoyed playing softball, knitting, crocheting and braiding hair.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in eternal rest by her siblings, Earlie Jones, Jr., Nathaniel Jones, and Barbara Jones Kirkland.

She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Philip Miller, Sr.; son, Philip Miller, Jr.; daughter, Nikita Hayes; grandchildren, JyTavis Hayes, NyKirah Hayes, Bryson Miller; brothers, Henry Jones, Sherman Smith, Ike Smith; sisters, Theretha (Jesse) Jones Jefferson, Jacquelyne Jones, Sylvia Jones, Lisa Jones; godson, Jarrod Jones, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be held from 10-11 a.m., with a Celebration of Linda's Life commencing at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 8, at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 2703 Forman Circle, Middleburg. Rev. Samuel Lee, Pastor and Eulogist. Interment: Grant Forman Cemetery, Middleburg.
