Lewis "Ann" Miler, a native of Seville, the daughter of Lewis Walton Jr. and Emma Lee Brantley-Cobb, was born Monday, June 9, 1958. Ann was educated in the Volusia County School District. She was a faithful honorary member of New Saint Paul Church, Seville. Ann was a dedicated worker at Big Lots of Palatka for over 20 years. She enjoyed fishing at the Crescent City fishing dock with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking for her family spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and thrift store shopping. Momma Ann enjoyed life! Though raised in the city of Seville, Pomona Park is where she called home until she entered eternal rest.
In addition to her parents, "Momma Ann" was preceded in eternal rest by her: sisters, Tina Addison, Richie Lee Brown and Janie Mae Richardson; brother, Willie Lee Hicks, Jr.; daughter, Christal L Mitchner-Ross.
Lewis "Ann" Miler entered the sunset of life on Monday, January 29, 2024, at UF Health Shands, Gainesville.
She leaves to cherish her memories: significant other of 18 years, Rick Alexander, son, Edward (Destiny) Mitchner, Jr.; daughters, Vonetta Adams and Gloria Williams; grandsons, Justin Adams, Colin Mitchner, Cameron Wright and Timothy Rogers, Jr.; granddaughters, Zorryia Ross, Jaylyn Mitchner and Lillian Rogers; brother-in-law, John Addison, Sr.; thirteen great-grand children; devoted friends, Faye Jones, Juanita Williams, Laurie Scott and John Wright; and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation of family & friends will be 9-10 a.m. with Celebration of Momma Ann's Life commencing at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 10 at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church South Campus, 608 Randolph Street, Crescent City. Pastor Jarvis F. Wright, Sr., New Saint Paul Church of Seville, is the eulogist.
