Lewis "Frank" Bird, Jr., 79, of Lake Como, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital, Palatka. A native of Atlanta, GA and the son of Kathryn and Lewis F. Bird Sr., "Frank" was born on Tuesday, March 30, 1943. A heavy equipment operator, he was employed by the Volusia County Public Works Department and served as a Mosquito Control Inspector, retiring in 2008. "Frank" was an honorably discharged U.S. Army veteran. He was also an avid history buff, air boater, and sasquatch hunter.  He served as a Past Worshipful Master of Lake Lodge #72 F&AM, Lake Como. "Frank" enjoyed traveling with his wife to visit his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in eternal rest by his parents.

Survivors : wife , Janet Lynn Bird, Lake Como; daughter , Kerri (David) Becker, Charles Town; son , J.B. (Teri) Craft, Columbus; grandchildren , Garrett Watford, Harrison Craft, Sofia Becker, Henry Craft, Evie Becker, Leo Becker, Rylan Becker, Naiyah Watford; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service with Masonic rights and military honors will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 23, at Lake Lodge Masonic Lodge, 112 Shrine Club Road, Pomona Park.
