Levonia Gloria (Sermons) Wright, 71, of Allentown, PA., entered the sunset of life on Friday, January 3, 2020 at her residence. A native of Palatka, she was the daughter of Bishop John Henry (Lady Lillian Bryant) Sermons and the granddaughter of Horace (Lovie) Bryant and Horace (Cora) Sermons. She was educated in the Putnam County School District and a 1965 graduate of Central Academy High School. Levonia continued her pursuit of education at Edward Waters College, Jacksonville and Bethune-Cookman University, Daytona Beach, majoring in Physical Therapy. She was the former co-founder and minister of Agape Ministries, Inc., a youth ministry based in Daytona Beach. Levonia was a faithful member of Spirit Temple Bible Church and devoted her entire life to serving the Lord.  She expended enormous time engaged in missionary work in the Africa- Kenchacha, Nigeria, Kenya, and Guana regions.

She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Ernest Wright; adopted daughter Corinthia Wright ; 3 sisters, Novella Sermon, Mildred (Len) Yearwood, Loretta (Ernest) Bradley ; 5 brothers, Horace (Joyce), Deacon Arthur, Bishop Saunders (Pamela), Milton (Willene), and Mark (Sandra) Sermon ; aunt, Evelyn T. Sermon ; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration was held last Saturday, January 11 at Spirit Temple Bible Church in Bethlehem, PA., Apostle Ese Dukes, officiating. Visitation of family and friends will be from 5-7 p.m., Friday, January 17, at Flagg's Chapel of Serenity. Homegoing Celebration will be 2 p.m., Saturday, January 18, at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, 4909 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, Rev. Karl N. Flagg, Senior Pastor.
