Leroy Theodore Hamilton, 86, retired truck driver of Palm Coast, transitioned on Friday, May 20, 2016. The son of Andrew and Bertha Hamilton, he was a native of Fort Meade. At an early age, Leroy accepted Christ in his life at St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Ft. Meade.

He was a former resident of New York City and Silver Spring, MD., and retired to Palm Coast. He touched everyone with his easy going, fun loving spirit and he was an avid NY Giants fan. Leroy was preceded in eternal rest by parents; brother, Andrew Hamilton, Jr., and sister, Clarissa Yarborough.


To cherish his memories: devoted wife of 34 years, Delores Hamilton, Palm Coast; daughters and sons, Zeline (Michael) Singleton; Shashawna Graves, Carlton Hamilton, Renard Nelson, Gregory Louis Dill; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Visitation: 10-11 a.m., Homegoing Services: 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at First A.M.E. Church of Palm Coast, 91 Old Kings Road North, Palm Coast, Rev. Gillard S. Glover, Pastor, officiating. Interment: 11 a.m. Thursday at Ft. Meade Cemetery, Ft. Meade.
