Obituary

Leo "Lee" Blue, Jr., 47, of Crescent City, entered the sunset of life on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka. The son of Leo and Barbara Blue, Sr., he was born on Thursday, September 6, 1973 in Crescent City. He was educated in Hardee County School District and was a 1991 graduate of Hardee Sr. High School (Wauchula). He was a member of Johnson Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor H. Harry Banks and First Lady Mother Ruby Banks. Leo enjoyed being with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Leo was preceded in eternal rest by his sister, Robin Ashe Curry.

He leaves to cherish his memories: god-parents , Pastor H. Harry (Mother Ruby) Banks, Crescent City; sisters Pamela (Pastor Emanuiel, Sr.) Roberts, Crescent City; Christell Thomas, Tammy Bowles, all of Palatka; brothers Larry (Stacey) Blue, Crescent City, Walter (Barbara) Blue, Waycross, GA, Cassius Small Muncie, IN; nieces and nephews, Elder Derrick (Melanie) Blue, Plant City; Elder Emanuiel (Melissa) Roberts, Jr., Kenneth (Sara) Roberts, Christopher (Aaronda) Roberts, all of Palm Coast; Carmen Blue, Orlando; Larry Blue, Alexus Kelly, Timothy Kelly, all of Crescent City; Jackie Sam, Daytona Beach; Derrick Blue, Kendran Blue, Daron Blue, Kari Blue (Sherman) Gloosby, all of Waycross, GA; aunts, Essie Mae Thomas Miller, Orlando; Sherry (Corry) Williams, Middleburg; Carolyn Edwards, Daytona Beach special friends, Neil Montgomery, Dale Gibbs, William Knox, Trenton Faulk, Anthony Mills, Jamaad Batts, Vanshon Parker, Laveras Keenon, Tate Hardy; his neighborhood children, Amarian, Eric, Laveras, Andre, Tykey, Zayvon, Lentavius, all Crescent City (Center Street) and a host of other relatives and friends.

(Mandatory CDC guidelines for social distancing and masks required): Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. graveside, Sunday, August 1 at Evergreen Cemetery, 900 Randolph Street, Crescent City. Elder H. Harry Banks, Pastor of Johnson Temple Church of God in Christ, is the eulogist.
