Dr. La'Rine Davis Willis, 69, ordained Pastor, Minister, Evangelist and Sunday School Teacher, of Orlando, entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at her residence. A native of Orlando, she was born on January 29, 1944. Her affiliations include Northside Church of God, Vero Beach; Founder and Pastor of Shekinah Glory Ministries, C.O.G.I.C.; and Zion Dominion Church of God, Orlando. Dr. Willis was known as wife, mother, and "mother dear." Dr. Willis leaves to cherish her memories: husband: Sylvester Willis of Orlando, FL; daughter - Sandy Venetta Lofton of Baltimore, MD; sons - Eddie Bernard Lofton Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; Aaron Lee Lofton of Orlando, FL; Ronald Wayne Lofton (Crystal), Franklin Park, NJ; Donald Shayne Lofton (& Carla), Jacksonville, FL; Clarence Leonardo Willis of Orlando, FL; sister - Elouise Davis Romer, St. Augustine, FL; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law of Vero Beach, FL., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2013, at Flagg's Chapel of Serenity, 2400 Madison St. Palatka, Florida, 32177. The Homegoing Celebration will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at House of God Church, Dr. Gilbert L. Evans, Jr., Pastor, 723 North 19th St., Street, Palatka, FL. Dr. Earl W. Carter, Sr., Senior Statesman, New Life Church, C.O.G.I.C., Orlando, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery, San Mateo.
