It is with great sadness that the family of Kendall Clifford "The Kidd" Stover, Jr., 57, of Palatka, announces his transition at Haven Hospice, Roberts Care Center, Palatka on Saturday, November 25, 2017 following an extended illness. A native of Portland, Maine, he was the son of Kendall Clifford Stover, Sr. and Natalie V. Hartt, born on March 31, 1960. He was educated in the Miami-Dade County School District. Kendall was an all-around handyman who lived life on his own terms. He made his own rules and roadmaps, leaving home at an early age to explore the world and his place in it. He had many friends who were a part of these adventures and a part of his memories. He loved helping others, listening to music and fixing whatever broke (ok, not always fixing, but he tried!).
Kendall was met on the other side by his mother, Natalie V. Owens; maternal and paternal grandparents ; aunt, Barbara Fogg Brown; cousins, Robert and Eric Fogg, and many friends. We know there was a lively party in heaven Saturday with lots of good music, laughter and remembrances.
It is also with great love and laughter that he will be remembered by his father, Kendall C. Stover, Sr.; brother, Douglas Stover; sisters, Susan Stover, Vickie Carlstrom, Elizabeth Stover; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many close friends.
A Celebration of Kendall's Life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, December 2nd at his niece's residence, 7422 Crill Avenue, Palatka, Florida. The Stover family welcomes covered dishes.
