IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Keith
Williams
July 25, 1978 – February 26, 2022
Keith Fredrick "Yella Boy" Williams, 43, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Putnam Community Medical Center. A native of Palatka and the son of Carol (Lockhart) Williams and Fred Williams, Keith was born on Tuesday, July 25, 1978. Keith was educated in the Putnam County School District and a 1996 graduate of Palatka High School. After graduation, Keith attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University before returning to Palatka. Upon his return, he was employed as Core Operator in Tissue Converting with Georgia Pacific. Affectionately known as "Dad", "Yella' and "Unc", Keith was a loving individual with a heart of gold for everyone he came in contact with. Keith was a self-proclaimed Pit Master, even though he burned the chicken a couple of times. He enjoyed grilling for family and friends during cookouts and special events and was considered the appointed chef of the family. He also enjoyed fishing, volunteering as a youth basketball and football coach, and spending quality time with family and friends.
He was preceded in eternal rest by his maternal grandparents Arthur (Mabel) Lockhart, his paternal grandparents Fred W. Williams, Sr. and Catherine Williams, and a host of aunts, uncles, and other loving relatives.
He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Carol Lockhart Williams, Palatka; father, Fred W. Williams Jr., South Bend, IN; children, Alexia (Jalen) Williams Chambliss, Keith C. Williams, Nia Williams; adopted children, Monica Feggins, Jesenia Feggins, Jade Echevarria; sister, Tinikia Brightmon-Battles; god-sister, Karleasa (Danny) Mitchell; god-brother, Victor Melendez; aunts & uncles, Detrick Lockhart, Edwin Lockhart, Dorothy Wilson, Mary Williams, Martha Williams, Patricia (Daniel) Walker, Margie (Jerry Sr.) Johnson, Andre (Bette) Williams, Catherine (Tommie) Byrd, Theresa (A-Jamu) Muhammad, Calvester (Johnine) Brightmon, Edwina (Fred) Williams, Lena Brightmon-McNeal, Lana Stacy; special cousin, Kimberly Clark; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
