Kathy Elaine Nealy, 55, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Friday, June 24, 2016 in Dooly County, GA as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The daughter of Alton and Inez (Jackson) Nealy, Sr., she was born on Friday, July 1, 1960 in Perth Amboy, NJ. She was educated in the Middlesex County School District and was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School. In 1994, the Nealy family relocated to Palatka. For over 20 years, Kathy was a member of Pentecostal Church of God in Christ, Palatka, under the pastoral leadership of Superintendent Johnny Shaw, where she served on the Missionary Board and was a member of the choir. Kathy was preceded in eternal rest by her grandparents; brother, Tony Nealy.

She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters , Sarinaty (Levi) LaBrew, Tia Pinckney, both of Palatka; son, Kyle Pinckney, Jacksonville; parents, Alton (Inez) Nealy, Palatka; brother, Alton (Darlene) Nealy, Jr., Keasbey, NJ; sisters , Carolyn (Phillip) Chattman, Rosemary (Calvin, Sr.) Singleton, Christine Nealy, Tammy (Zandy) Nealy, all of Savannah, GA; aunts, Ernestine Nealy, Lakeland; Thelma Eure, Palatka; uncle, James Jackson, Jr., Keensaw, GA; 3 grandchildren, Danielle, Tamara, and Kynlee LaBrew; and a host of nieces, nephews, caring relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m., Friday, July 1 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Homegoing Celebration will be 2 p.m., Saturday, July 2, at Pentecostal Church of God in Christ, 624 North 9th Street, Palatka, Superintendent Johnny Shaw, Pastor is the Eulogist. Interment will be in Pattersonville Cemetery, East Palatka.
