Katasha N. Hill, 51, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Monday, October 17, 2022 at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, Gainesville. A native and lifelong resident of Palatka, Katasha was the daughter of Harriet Hill, born on Sunday, September 19, 1971. She was educated in the Putnam County School District and attended Palatka High School. Katasha subsequently began her career at McDonald's where she was employed since May 1989 and was promoted as a manager. On March 18, 2012, Katasha joined Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church and also sang in the church choir. She enjoyed reading and solving "brain-teaser" puzzles.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in eternal rest by her aunts, Imogene Robinson, Roberta Francis, Dorothy Ann Hill, Eva Mae Hill; uncles, James L. Hill, Kenneth Hill, Harold Hill, Jr., and Jerome Hill.

She leaves to cherish her memories: son , Antonio (I'sis) Hill, Jacksonville; 2 grandchildren , Joseph Hill, Joshua Hill, both of Miami; brother , Clarence Hayes, Jr., Palatka; sister , Artaka (TraQuan Rowe) Hill, Palatka; aunts and uncles , Florine Hill-Pope, Palatka; Yvonne (Johnnie) Jackson, Terri Hill, both of Jacksonville; nephew , Dontarius Hayes; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 21; Celebration of Katasha's Life will be 3 p.m., Saturday, October 22 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Reverend Karl N. Flagg, Senior Pastor of Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Oak Hill West Cemetery.
