Kamari Lynette Jackson, 7, of Palatka, peacefully entered the sunset of life on Friday, January 7, 2022 at her residence, following complications of congenital cerebral palsy. A native of Palatka, Kamari was the daughter of Courtney Lindsey and Carl Jackson Jr., born on Thursday, August 28, 2014. Kamari enjoyed listening to music with her family and would smile and laugh while watching her favorite show, "Coco Mellon." Kamari faithfully attended Tender Care Medical Services since infancy and endured her health challenges with resilience and fortitude. She truly inspired all who heard about or knew her miraculous story.
Kamari was preceded in eternal rest by her maternal great grandparents, Gloria Jean Duncan and Eddie Fullwood, Sr.
Kamari will be forever loved and cherished by her parents , Courtney Lindsey (Lonnie Staten) and Carl Jackson, Jr., maternal brother , Kingston Lindsey; paternal siblings , Katavas, Carl'tez, Cashandra, Cartesian, and Camais Jackson; grandparents, Cherry Fullwood Leonard (caregiver), Corey Lindsey, Ernestine Wright, and Carl Jackson, Sr.; maternal aunt and uncles, Maryjean Small, Jason Small, Jermaine Small, Albert Leonard, and Almont'e Leonard; paternal aunts and uncles, Lynette Wright, San'Monica Wright, Patricia Jackson, Deidre Calloway, Kim Davis, Jaquanna Gillins; Calvin Lewis and Sammie Wright, Jr.; great uncles , Eddie (Mich) Fullwood, Jr., Lloyd (Beth) Duncan; godparents , Isacc (Ann)Green; and a host of loving cousins, other relatives, neighbors and friends.
Visitation of family and friends will be 5-6 p.m., Friday, January 14 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Kamari's Celebration of Life will be held graveside, 11 a.m., Saturday, January 15 at Oak Hill West Cemetery, 712 S. Palm Ave., Palatka, Associate Pastor Arthur Coley, of Passionate First Born Church, is the eulogist.
