Julie Lynne Jones, 21, of Fruitland, entered into the Kingdom of God on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at her residence. The daughter of Tracy Reed Jones, she was a native of Jacksonville born on Saturday, May 22, 1993. Julie attended Palatka High School and was a graduate of Columbia High School in Lake City. During her early childhood, while in the care of her foster parents, she traveled a lot and attended church services. Due to her diabetic condition, Julie was very mindful about her appetite and therefore, developed a passion for cooking. She was a fun-loving, free-spirited person who loved animals and also spending time with friends. Julie is preceded in eternal rest by her mother. She leaves to cherish her memories: her companion, Mark Anthony Kirby, Jr., Fruitland; and a host of loving and caring friends. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2014 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity," 2400 Madison Street, Palatka, FL, Reverend Karl N. Flagg, officiating.
