Judy Deloris "Sissy" Walker Williams, 53, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, August 18, 2013, at her residence in her favorite recliner. A native and lifelong resident of Putnam County, she was born on Sunday, December 20, 1959 to Alonzo and Ophelia (Oxendine) Walker. She was a 1977 graduate of Crescent City High School. "Sissy" was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Kindred Hospital-North Florida, Green Cove Springs, for over 15 years. She loved life, thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the beach, hanging out with her family, and watching fireworks. Judy was preceded in eternal rest by her father, Alonzo Walker. Judy leaves to cherish her memories: devoted husband, Clifford "Jay-Hut" Williams, Palatka; loving mother, Ophelia Smith Walker, Georgetown; sisters and brothers, Rose (Karl) Treasure, Middleburg, Isaac Smith, Georgetown, Eddie (Gloria Jean) Smith, Poughkeepsie, NY, Mary Morrison, Georgetown, Linda (Ray) Poppenga, Freehold, NJ, Joseph (Betty) Walker, Orange Park, Joann (Ronnie) Vreen, Palatka, Joyce (Ron) Sharp, Palatka, Joe (Theordoshia) Walker (twin brother), Georgetown; mother in-law, Curlease Williams, Palatka; brothers-in-law, Eddie B. Sanders, and Houston Williams, both of Palatka; Howard T. Williams, El Paso, TX., Hudson Williams, Trenton, NJ., Michael Williams and Alphonso Williams, both of West Palm Beach; sisters-in-law, Delores Cook, Trenton, NJ., Angela Powell, West Palm Beach; goddaughter, Tawanda Walker; and a host of other caring relatives and friends. Visitation of family and friends will be held 5-8 pm, Friday, August 23 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity". Homegoing Celebration will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 24 at Abundant Life Ministries, 890 North State Road 19, Palatka, Pastor Chad Willis.
