It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph J. Kavashansky, Jr. A beloved husband, father, and friend. Joseph transitioned on June 28, 2024 in Melrose, Florida. Born in New York, N.Y. Joseph was known for his infectious laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. He had a passion for cars, his family and his Catholic faith. He was also a proud U.S. Air Force veteran who loved his country and all who fought for it. He served at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX and earned an honorable discharge.

A memorial service with military honors to celebrate Joseph's life will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3.

Joseph's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire us to embrace life with joy and compassion.
