Jose Joe Rodriguez, 58, of Interlachen, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at his Interlachen residence following an extended illness. Jose was born Saturday, Febuary 17, 1951 to Flor and Luz E. Perez-Rodriguez in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. Jose was a graduate of Julia Richmond High School, Bronx, NY. He resided in Bronx most of his life and formerly resided in Alhambra, CA, until he and his family moved to Interlachen in 1984. Jose had been formerly employed at Pic N Save and Dickies Well Drilling. Jose enjoyed doing landscaping work, growing fruits and vegetables, and was an avid fisherman. Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in eternal rest by his sister Milagio Rodriguez.

Lucy Rodriguez, Interlachen and sister, Merquiades Gladys Rodriguez, both of Interlachen; brother; Louis Rodriguez, Homestead, FL; ex-wife, Myrna Roman, Interlachen; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends.

Memorial Service will be held, 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, at the Chapel of Serenity, 2400 Madison Street, Palatka, Pastor Juan Cruz, Iglesia Pentecostal De Avivamiento Elohim, officiating
