Obituary

John Terrell 'Uncle T' King, 48, of Crescent City, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Halifax Health Medical Center, Daytona Beach.The son of Willie King, Sr. and Cherlyn Frank, he was born on Friday, August 1, 1975 in Palatka. He was educated in the Putnam County School District at Crescent City Jr.-Sr. High School. "Uncle T" was the evening store manager at Winn-Dixie in Crescent City, where he would always lend a helping hand with a smile! He loved providing excellent customer service. John Terrell would describe himself as a simple man who enjoyed his computer, mountain dew, Folgers coffee, and listening to his favorite soul and R&B singer - Betty Wright. "Uncle T" as he was affectionately known loved and cared for his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Above all, "Uncle T" believed in and loved the Lord.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in eternal rest by his brothers, Willie King, Jr. and Zenovia King.

He leaves to cherish his memories: brothers, Eugene (Stephanie) Glover, Anthony Glover; sisters, Teresa (Ernest) Fuller, Denosa (Larry) Addison, Latronda Davis; all of Crescent City; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family & friends will be 12 noon - 2 p.m., with Celebration of Life commencing at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 28 at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church (South Campus), 608 Randolph Street, Crescent City, Reverend Karl N. Flagg, Senior Pastor. Pastor Jarvis F. Wright, Sr., New Saint Paul Church of Seville, officiating.
