John Willie Addison, 64, of Crescent City, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at his residence. A native of Garfield, GA., John was the son of John and Alberta (Guns) Addison Sr., born on Friday, August 6, 1954.   At an early age the family relocated to Putnam County and he was educated in Putnam County School District.  John was active in agricultural work and lawn maintenance.  He was a member of Jethro First Baptist Church and truly enjoyed attending church services.  His hobbies included cleaning up for the elderly and spending quality time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in eternal rest by his sisters, Ruthie M. Baker and Daisy M. Addison.

To cherish his memories: brothers, John Edward (Annie) Addison, Crescent City; Willie E. Addison, Palatka; sisters, Ola B. Crowder, Ida D. Addison, Drabine D. (Robert) Graham, all of Jacksonville; and a host other relatives and friends.

A Service of Remembrance to memorialize John will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 2 ^nd at Jethro First Baptist Church, 101 Cedar Street, Crescent City, FL., Rev. Adrian Washington, Pastor.  Bishop Cornelius Scott Golden, Pastor of Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church, Seville, FL., officiating.
