Jerry Russell Leeds, 60, of Jacksonville, entered the sunset of life unexpectedly on Saturday, February 2nd at his brothers Pioneer Trail residence. He was a resident of Jacksonville, FL, born to Mr. Robert and Mrs. Carolyn (Melton) Leeds. He was a member of St. Augustine Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL. Jerry had a strong passion for nature, loved gardening and horticulture. Jerry also possessed extensive knowledge of birds and precisely knew flowers by species. Thomas, both of Jacksonville, brothers; Bobby (Billie) Leeds, Palatka, Rudy (Cindy) Leeds, Orangedale, and a host of other relatives, and friends. Memorial services will be Friday, February 6, 2008, 11 a.m. at Cinnamon Street Baptist Church, 20 Cinnamon St., Middleburg, FL, Reverend Von Dalrympple, Pastor.
