She was a devoted member and Deaconess at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and faithfully served in the Women's Ministry, Sick & Shut-In Ministry, Willing Workers, and the Prayer Band.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in eternal rest by her siblings Frances Gibson, Cornelius "Neil" Mays, Mary Wright, Walter Trumpler, Cleveland Trumpler, Jabo Trumpler, Gordon Trumpler, Jr., Freeman Trumpler, and Frank Trumpler.
