James Patrick Wilcox, 80, of Interlachen, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, August 24, 2008, at Bradford Terrace Nursing Home in Starke following an extended illness. He was a native of Glen Falls, N.Y. and had resided in Interlachen for the past 10 years, moving from Nickels NY. He also was a former resident of Daytona Beach. James was educated in the Glen Falls School District and was a retired chef. He is preceded in eternal rest by his mother, Nellie Reardon; and son, Michael Wilcox. To cherish his memories: devoted wife of 14 years, Margaret H. Wilcox, Interlachen; 3 daughters, Patricia & Diana, both of Glen Falls; Nancy Sharpe, Tampa; 7 stepchildren including, Paul (Donna) Hickey and Cathy (Cal) Gervin, both of Palatka; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and caring friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 4th, 11 a.m. at Bethel Assembly of God, 119 North CR 315, Interlachen, Pastor Michael McColley, officiating. Inurnment will be later in Shenago Forks, New York.
