James Bernard Reed, 61, of East Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka. A native of Peabody, MA, James was the son of Gaylord and Joan Reed, born on February 16, 1960. He was educated in the Essex County MA School District. "Jim" as he was affectionately known was described as a kind person by his friends. He had a black Labrador named, Oden, who is now residing with a close friend, Davey in Peabody. A Celebration of Jim's Life is being planned for a later date by his cousin, Kim Weisensee and his good friend, Mitch Mavroules in Massachusetts. Additionally, a Memorial Service will be planned in Tennessee by his sister Sharon D'Onofrio and her family.
