Jackie Erskin Lewis, 82, of Toledo, OH (a Palatka native), entered the sunset of life on Sunday, November 28, 2021. The son of Emma Mae Williams Lewis and Allie Lewis, he was born on Sunday, September 17, 1939. He was educated in the Putnam County School District and was a 1958 graduate of Central Academy High School.

In 1965, Jackie enlisted into the United States Army and served for several years earning an honorable discharge, achievements include the Good Conduct Medal and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Vietnam).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in eternal rest by his wife Jessie Lewis; brothers, Allie Lewis Jr., Bobby James Lewis, Renard Kenneth Harrison; niece, Wanda Yvette Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his memories: sister, Mae Thelma Lewis Frazier, Palatka; brother, Wilbert (Gail) Williams, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Gayle Harrison, St Augustine; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives, classmates and friends.
