Ja-Ron Courtney Smith, 32, of Palm Coast, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Halifax Health Medical Center, Daytona Beach. He was born on Tuesday, June 26, 1990, to Carolyn and Roger Smith in Silver Springs, MD. He was employed at Boston Whaler as a craftsman and machinist.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in eternal rest by his grandparents, James and Margaret Smith.

To cherish his memories: four children; Jayce, Jayden, Cassius "Kash" and Jewels; mother, Carolyn Smith, Palm Coast; two brothers, Derrick Shaw, Palm Coast; Charles "Chucky" Smith, Maryland; two grandaunts, Willa Alston, Ossining, NY; Beatrice Hinson, Fayetteville, NC; two aunts, Denise "Mama Neecy" Shaw, Palm Coast; Teressa Jett, Bethune, SC; a host of cousins, including Dimeko, Chenikwa, Weldon III, Danazja; special friends, Lucy Chiriboga, Ormond Beach; Kaja Daniels, Palm Coast; best friends, Deron Carter and Allen Diggs and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him.

He was a devoted son, brother, and father. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation: 9-10 a.m., with Celebration of Life commencing at 10 a.m. Friday, June 16, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 75 Pine Lakes Pkwy, Palm Coast, FL.
