Idella Frazier Crawford Douglas, 98, of Green Cove Springs, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Governor's Creek Health and Rehab Center. A native and lifelong resident of Clay County, she was the daughter of Edward and Ella Smith Butler, born Friday, January 8, 1915 in Peoria. She was a former member of St. Luke's Missionary Baptist Church, Fleming Island and served as church mother at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Green Cove Springs. To cherish her memories: son - Moses (Jessie Faye) Frazier, Stockbridge, GA; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, June 28, 2013 and 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant. Homegoing Celebration will be 12:30 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 1300 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd., Green Cove Springs, FL, Rev. Robert L. Wright, Pastor. Her grandson, Rev. Dr. D. C. Frazier, pastor of Baptist Bible Church, Orange Park, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Green Cove Springs.
