Henry Lee Thomas, Jr., 47, Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Monday, April 21sh at Putnam Community Medical Center. He was a native of Palatka, born Tuesday, November 29, 1960 and was a 1978 graduate of Palatka High School. On April 23, 1999, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Artisdine King. Henry was a member the Apostolic Church of Jesus, East Palatka. He served as a faithful deacon and was dedicated to the Lord and his church. Henry was a dynamic maintenance man for over thirty years and for the past 3 years, he has been employed Palatka Health Care Center. He was a former maintenance man for the Palatka Housing Authority and the National Guard Armory in St. Augustine. He really loved church, enjoyed watching classic movies, fishing and playing video games. Visitation of family & friends will be 5-8 pm on Friday, April 25th at the Chapel of Serenity. Homegoing Services will be 4 pm Saturday, April 26th at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, 4909 St. Johns Ave., Palatka. Bishop Gregory Johnson, Pastor of H Q Ministries, Altamonte Springs is the eulogist. Interment will be in Oak Hill West Cemetery, Palatka.
