Hayward Hardy, Jr., 58, of St. Augustine, entered the sunset of life on Friday, October 31, 2025 at his residence. The son of Hayward and Grace Marie (Jenkins) Hardy, Sr., he was born on Friday, December 9, 1966 in St. Augustine. He was educated in the St. Johns County School District. Hayward was a member of Hopewell Church. He was previously employed with Brightview Landscaping as a lawn maintenance-man. In his leisure time, Hayward enjoyed art and weightlifting.

He leaves to cherish his memories: daughter and son, Tempress Coldy, Hayward Coldy; brothers, Howard Hardy, Jay Hardy, J.W. Hardy; sisters, Lucy Hardy Wells-Johnson, Grace Hardy, Jeanette Hardy, Hazel Hardy; uncles, Thomas Hardy, Steve Hardy; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be held at 9 a.m. with a Celebration of Hayward's Life commencing at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Hopewell Church, 1351 Roberts Rd, St. Johns, Dr. Gary Williams, Senior Pastor. Rev. Steve Newbill, Executive Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Augustine.
