IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Hattie Ivey
Brady
May 25, 1966 – July 23, 2025
Hattie Lee Ivey Brady, 59, of Palatka, answered the Master's call from labor to reward and she entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at UF Shands, Jacksonville. Hattie was born on Wednesday, May 25, 1966 in Palatka, Florida to Louis Ivey and Lula Mae Epps Ivey Peoples. She was educated in the Putnam County School District. As an active member of Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, Hattie participated in women's ministry activities. She enjoyed attending church, shopping and spending time with family and friends. Hattie truly loved the Lord and shared her testimony each time she had an opportunity. She never allowed any of her health challenges to keep her from giving God the glory. She would often encourage those who came to encourage her with a gentle, loving and kindred spirit.
Loving memories of Hattie remain with her children, Shawnta Ivey, Latisha (Moses) Long, Kiarious Smith, Keyonta Smith and Te'Onna Smith; 22 grandchildren; brothers, Arthur (Lisa) Godfrey, Ronald Ivey, Larry (Johnnie) Kinney Ivey, Terry Ivey; sisters, Avis (Harold) Fields, Caroline Sharp, Jewel Perry, Carmelia Mauesby, Jonita Cherry; best friend, Penny Joe Hoffman and faithful companion, William Sipplen.
