Gregory Keith Hall, 58, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville. A native and lifelong resident of Palatka, Greg was the son of Rutha Mae McGee and Clarence Herbert Hall, Jr., born on Wednesday, March 2, 1960. Gregory was educated in the Putnam County School District at Palatka Central High School. He was a member of H. T. Christian Center. Greg was formerly employed as a heavy equipment operator. He loved to drive, play basketball, spend time at the beach, and enjoyed fellowshipping with his family and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in eternal rest by his step-father, Bishop Amos Murray, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Brenda Fuce Hall, Palatka; devoted mother, Pastor Rutha McGee Murray; stepmother, Victoria Hall, Palatka; brothers, Clarence "Herbie" (Lisa) Hall, III, Cassius (Kameka) Hall, and Cedric Hall, all of Palatka; sisters, Tharissa Simmons, Angela Robinson, and Willetta Hobbs, all of Palatka; Patricia Burns, St. Augustine; Daphne McClendon, Live Oak; aunts and uncle, Doretha McGee, Rose McGee, Diane McGee, Gerald McGee, and Dan McGee, Jr., all of Palatka; Donald (Valerie) Hall, Orange Mills; godson, Justin Herring, Palatka; special friend, Tabitha Robertson, Palatka; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation of Family and Friends will be 5-8 p.m., Friday at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." A Celebration of Life will be 1 p.m., Saturday at Mount Tabor First Baptist Church, 4909 St. Johns Ave., Palatka, Rev. Karl N. Flagg, Pastor; Apostle Elijah Murray, Evangelistic House of Prayer, Hilton Head, SC, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Oak Hill West Cemetery.
