Gloria Jean (Cobb) Bryant Link, 59, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, December 25th, 2010, at her son Justins residence in Greenville, SC following an extended illness. Gloria was a native of Palatka, born July 14, 1951 to Azaline Young & Johnnie Cobb. As an infant she was adopted as a daughter by Malachi & Emma Marie (Hunter) Brown. She was educated in the Putnam County School District (Central Academy High School, Class of 1969). Following High School, Gloria was united in holy matrimony to Albert Bryant and two sons, Reginald and Albert Jr., were born. Gloria relocated to New York and resided there for 19 years and while residing there, she married Thomas Link and her third son, Justin was born. In 1993, they returned to Palatka and she was employed as a custodian at W. H. Beasley Middle School. She has been a member of Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church since May 9th, 1999 and was a former member of Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church.

Gloria is preceded in eternal rest by her parents, Mother Marie Brown Fields, Malachi Brown, Thomas Fields; husband, Thomas L. Link; Sister, Rosa Brown; and Brother, James Brown.

To cherish her memories: three Sons, Reginald (Candace) Bryant and Albert (Keasha) Bryant, Jr., both of Palatka; Justin (Amber) Link, Greenville, SC; Mother, Azaline Young, Safe Harbor, FL; Johnnie Cobb, Palatka; Brother, Emmitt (Elizabeth) Brown, Orlando; six grandchildren, Choyce, Chinara, Ajene, and Reginald Bryant, Jr., Yasmine and Juliana Link; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday (today) at the Chapel of Serenity. Homegoing Celebration will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 31st, at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, 4909 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, Reverend Karl N. Flagg, Pastor, is the Eulogist.

Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery, San Mateo
